i dont agree with the actions of the eu as i think it is mostly hypocritical and ill advised.telling the makers of mr clean to change their iconic logo is in my opinion an infringement of the company's freedoom of expression.dolce and gabbanna's ad is a little bit distasteful as it portrays men as sex hungry perverts.the eu should direct its effort towards more tangible causes like the social emancipation of women within its shores and abroad.

It really funny to me how people make such a big thing about stupid commercials. The European Parliment are fining people up to 64,000 for what? Stereotyping certain people or genders? I think that if people find this offensive then they shouldn't pay attention or simply ignore it. This will change European advertisement and i think it will ruin their commercials. As for the U.S., i highly doubt this is going to happen here and it shouldn't. Maybe people like seeing women half naked in a commercial. Thats what today's society is about. People like seeing action and the reason for stereotyping genders is because it fits the script well. Your not going to see a man in a perfume commercial or a women in a super bowl commercial because it doesn't fit in the eyes of us americans.

i think that the European Parliament is taking this too seriously. the comercials they are considering gender stereotypes is not really promoting sterotype. like Mr.Clean, they object on the commercial showing a man i think there is nothing stereotypical about it. the ad is not showing that you have to be a strong man to tackle dirt just because it shows a muscular man on the cover.i really think the European Parliament is making a big deal out of nothing
