malcolm x's situation and that of douglass were similar because they belonged to a marginalised race who were denied the rights to education.they were also sad and dissatisfied with their respective educational situations and did all they could do to get education.douglass's situation was more difficult than that of malcolm x as he was prohibited from reading whereas malcolm x had all the books he needed at his beck and call.
the situations of both malcolm x and douglass are similair because they are both part of a race that has been looked upon as slaves and slaves didnt have to privilege of learning how to read. They were also very determine in learning how to read. the difference between the two was that douglass had to sneak around when he tried to elarn when malclom had books all over so it was harder for douglass
